Classes

The Arts Barn offers classes to the Putnam County area in the areas of dance, music, and theatre. These classes are intended to introduce and hone new skills. All dance and theatre classes are performance based. Music classes have the opportunity to perform in the Coffee House series.


Details

All classes meet once a week during the school week. Music classes meet in the Arts Barn Offices at The Plaza Arts Center. Dance and theatre classes meet in the Community Center (behind The Plaza Arts Center).

Dance

Clogging is our specialty! Classes offered for ages 6 (1st grade) and up.

Our newest offering, our beginner tap course will lay a foundation in musical theatre tap.

Music

Individual lessons to meet you at your skill level. Recommended for ages 10 to 110.

Individual lessons on ukulele, a great introductory instrument. Recommended for ages 7 and up.

Individual lessons on piano to meet you at your skill level. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Theatre

The Arts Barn Kids is a theatre group that focuses on acting, dance, and developing theatre instincts. For grades 3rd-6th.
